I was so lucky to have Bob Valvano join me on the air this morning to catch up and to discuss the V Foundation, the charity that he started for his brother, the late Jim Valvano. Big shout out to our homegrown athletes doing big things: Kristina Santiago with the hoops, Stephanie Brown Trafton, the reigning Olympic Gold Medalist, 16 year old Arroyo Grande High School student Zach Stevens at the Olympic swimming trials, and to our Cal Poly Athlete of the week, Sharon Day. We also had a bet to settle with the NBA playoff challenge with Mike, Billy and Jeff from Marisol!
